The drive must be placed between the island part of the hole and then the player is left with a long difficult approach to a green protected by whins and bunkers - part of the fearsome finish at Carnoustie. Hole #18 - 485 yards par 4 "Home" - no more difficult finishing hole will be found anywhere. The clock on the hotel is the line off the tee and if you better a seven - reward yourself with a drink!
