The Island Golf Club - 2nd September 2011

“The Island Golf Club is as honest an experience you will get of links golf in this country, without any of the complications that can apply to some of our other famed courses. Expect a warm and friendly reception by the Irish Sea in North Dublin and a truly memorable experience of links land” – Colin Byrne

The European Club - 1st September 2011

It’s a rare occasion to be almost the only player on a golf course, but this happened to me on The European Club. I know the course since I’ve played it a number of times over the last 10 years. It’s one of my favorite courses in Ireland

Carlow Golf Club - 31st August 2011

Carlow Golf Club is not a links course and not part of “The Links’, but I got an invitation from my Irish skiing friend, Kevin Kelly, to join him and two of his friends, Barry Walsh and Michael “Guru” Morrissey, for a game. Can’t turn down an offer like this, so it’s an additional game on my “day off”.

Ballybunion Golf Club - 30th August 2011

“The Links” is now on it’s way. The scheduled changed slightly and the first club to visit was Ballybunion Golf Club in County Kerry on the south west coast of Ireland. The course played was the stunning Old Course that has been there for more then 100 years.
